MNPS Annual Report
Each year, the MNPS Communications Office compiles and publishes the district's Annual Report. This comprehensive document provides a concise review of many district functions, including student achievement, innovative programs, budget and facilities. The Annual Report for school year 2008-09 will be published and available very soon.
No Child Left Behind
No Child Left Behind (NCLB) is a federal law approved in 2002. The purpose of NCLB is to establish a federal accountability system for all school districts in the United States. It requires 100% of students to be proficient or advanced in all subjects by 2013-2014. It also requires that all schools achieve a graduation rate of 90% by 2013-2014. To reach these goals, districts must meet increasingly difficult targets each year.
Tennessee Department of Education Report Card
Every year, the Tennessee Department of Education releases its comprehensive report card on pre-K - 12 education including state, district and school-level information on achievement, demographics, discipline and educator preparation.
Alignment Nashville's IMPACT Annual Report
The purpose of Alignment Nashville (AN) is to create a system to bring community organizations and resources into alignment so their aligned support to Nashville’s youth has a positive impact on public school success and the success of our community as a whole. Prepared by the 23 volunteers on the Education Report Card Committee, the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce Report Card overviews the school year, focusing on the areas of school system performance, high school redesign and teacher quality.
